Aidan's Birthday Party!

Today we had Aidan's first Birthday Party! The morning started like any other morning but then Aidan was walking and since he is still pretty new at it and he decided to walk holding his new Thomas the train flashlight, he fell and cut his upper labial forenum! Fancy word for the skin that holds your upper lip and gums together. Well this sucker bleeds like crazy! Needless to say it made me queezy to see my poor baby bleeding that much! After his morning nap, he woke up and it still was bleeding and after speaking with my sister the nurse who said there's not much you can do about it, we just kept pressure on it and it bled the whole party! Pretty stressful having to keep wiping his mouth. Well the party was stressful but fun, the kids had a blast in the bounce house, we had yummy pizza, dip,chips, grapes, and cake! We were so happy that Papa Pete also made it to the party! Well it will definitely be a first Birthday we will never forget! After his afternoon nap he sucked on a popsicle and the bleeding had finally stopped! Hopefully that will be the first and last injury for a looooong time! Happy Birthday Aidan!

Sea World

Today we took the boys to Sea World. It was still decorated for the Holidays and was so pretty and festive. They had beautiful, huge Christmas trees! Ethan was tall enough to ride the Shamu roller coaster and loved it so much he rode once with me and then right after asked if he could go again, so Joey took him. Aidan had a blast too! The boys were so exhausted they fell asleep a few minutes after we rode away from the park. We can't wait to go back!

Monkey!

Today Aidan received a special gift in the mail from Aunt Sandy, Uncle Peter, Mady and Zach. He Loves his new Monkey! He is so cute with it, He gives him kisses and big hugs!! Thank you! We are saving the other gift to open at his party! He also loved the birthday card from mady. We miss you and love you all!

Happy Birthday Aidan!

Happy Birthday Aidan! Today after lunch we ate cupcakes, played with balloons and sang Happy Birthday to Aidan. He is so funny, every time we sing to him, he shakes his head no! But he's smiling the whole time.

What a difference a year makes!!!!!!!!!

Last year today I was holding my precious brand new Baby Aidan and a year later I am running behind him to make sure he doesn't fall! Aidan is walking! He is such a special addition to our family, we are so blessed to have him. We love you Aidan!

Dear Santa

Today Ethan wrote his letter to Santa, with a little help from mommy. As you can see he wants a helicopter, Airplane and a Bow and arrow. I don't know where all that came from, but at the moment thats what he asked for. He even wrote his name at the bottom.

Its begining to look alot like Christmas!

Today we started to decorate for Christmas! Ethan was so excited when we asked him if he wanted to put the christmas tree up! He did most of the decorating and most of the ornaments are exactly at his level, especially the candy canes! Aidan loves the tree, a little too much! Should be a fun month of trying to keep him from knocking it down! I love that Ethan is at the perfect age to be so into this wonderful time of year! He loves watching the christmas shows, asking tons of questions about Santa, counting down the days until we can go to Papa's.
