Happy Birthday Aidan!

Happy Birthday Aidan! Today after lunch we ate cupcakes, played with balloons and sang Happy Birthday to Aidan. He is so funny, every time we sing to him, he shakes his head no! But he's smiling the whole time.

What a difference a year makes!!!!!!!!!

Last year today I was holding my precious brand new Baby Aidan and a year later I am running behind him to make sure he doesn't fall! Aidan is walking! He is such a special addition to our family, we are so blessed to have him. We love you Aidan!

Dear Santa

Today Ethan wrote his letter to Santa, with a little help from mommy. As you can see he wants a helicopter, Airplane and a Bow and arrow. I don't know where all that came from, but at the moment thats what he asked for. He even wrote his name at the bottom.

Its begining to look alot like Christmas!

Today we started to decorate for Christmas! Ethan was so excited when we asked him if he wanted to put the christmas tree up! He did most of the decorating and most of the ornaments are exactly at his level, especially the candy canes! Aidan loves the tree, a little too much! Should be a fun month of trying to keep him from knocking it down! I love that Ethan is at the perfect age to be so into this wonderful time of year! He loves watching the christmas shows, asking tons of questions about Santa, counting down the days until we can go to Papa's.

Aidan is 11 months!

Aidan is 11 months old today! He is getting so big and although he has been taking some steps on his own for a while now, he's being pretty cautious about walking. He loves to play with Ethan and has a total of 5 teeth , I think the 6th one is on its way. He is such a blessing to our family and we adore him!

Thanksgiving Art Project

Today I asked Ethan if he wanted to do a Thanksgiving art Project, he said "Sure Mommy"! So I asked him to trace his own hand and he did! I of course traced Aidan's pudgey hand, I could only get him to sit still to do one hand so he has one turkey! Ethan traced his hand four times and did a great job, Joey showed him how to add feet, a beek ,eyes etc. and he made 3 more on his own! When I asked him what he is Thankful for he said "Mommy, Daddy, Grammy, Papa Pete and Aunt Sandy"! I said what about Aidan, he said ok him too! Aidan was being all of what a 10 month old would, he was crushing up the paper, eating the crayons, pulling on Ethan and my hair so I could understand why he left him out! After we were done, I wrote Aidan's name on his and asked Ethan if he wanted me to write his name on his, he said," I can do it". I honestly have only showed him a few times how to write his name and well he did it! He did a great job, He needs a little help with the A in ETHAN, but I was presently surprised!

Got Chocolate?

Today we made yummy Chocolate Pudding! Guess who liked it? Ethan said "Mommy you know how much I like chocolate!" And yes I do!

Florida Living

Well only in Florida is it 82 degrees in November! The boys love being on their swingset and playing in the green grass in our fenced in back yard! We sure did miss our backyard while we were in NC.

Memories

Today as I thought about how blessed I am to have such a wonderful family and I looked back at some old pics I couldn't help but post a few of my favorites! I love these boys!

Moving Day

Well the day has finally come and we have moved From Pinehurst NC back to Orlando Fl. Although we enjoyed our time in NC, we definitely missed alot of things in Florida! Being close to family and friends, our house, neighborhood, the weather and well I could go on and on. This past year has been a learning experience for our family and we don't regret moving, however it was alot of work especially with the two little guys. Thanks so much Papa for all your help! We couldn't have done it without you! Your the best! Here are a few pics one of our flat tire, as soon as we were all ready to leave we noticed the car carrier was FLAT! Four hours later we were back on track to Fl. We made it here and are slowly but surely getting settled in our home again. Hopefully we can stay put for a couple of years!

Halloween!!

Ethan has been so excited and anxiously awaiting to go trick or treating! He has had his Superman costume for several weeks. We had a special visitor come visit and go trick or treating with us this year, Popeye the sailor man, aka Papa Pete! So off we went with Superman, Batman, Popeye and a Lion. We had such a fun time!

Fall

Today it really felt like Fall, well more like winter for me! It was a high of 59 degrees! I took the boys to a craft fair and Ethan got his face painted, ate popcorn, watched a puppet show and then saw some yummy blue berry muffins at the bake sale and we all munched on it,even Aidan had blueberry all over his face. The leaves have started to change colors and fall all over the yard, I guess its officially Fall.

The moving train

We are counting down the weeks and now only have 2 weeks before we move! I thought packing and moving while being 7 months pregant was hard, well its nothing compared to doing it with a 9 month old!!! This morning Ethan made a train out of a few boxes and by the time I could get the camera, Aidan had rearranged them, but I did manage to get a few pics. I have also been trying to get a pic of his two bottom teeth, this is the best I could get.

Another Visit with Papa!

We are so lucky this month! This is the second time Papa has come to visit! We had a very busy day! First we took Joey to the Airport, then we rode over to the pumpkin patch and picked out three pumpkins, it was such a beautiful day. Ethan then decided he wanted to pick up lunch from chick fila and have a picnic at the park. It was a perfect Day!
